The main objective of our group is to advance in the knowledge of the flow structure and its effects on heat and mass transfer processes in problems of fundamental, industrial and environmental interest, using experimental, computational and analytical tools.
The main research lines of the group are
- study of multiphase flows
- study of respiratory events
- study of flows with heat transfer
- application of Machine Learning techniques
- studies of environmental interest.
In order to carry out this research work, the group has a wide experience in computational fluid mechanics (CFD), in the assembly of experimental equipment, flow visualization and measurement techniques, equipment for the rheological study of biofluids with complex rheology, as well as in the fields of Big Data and Machine Learning for data characterization and detection of anomalies and deviations.
